Day 1 arrival in Tbilisi

Arrival in Tbilisi, Transfer to hotel. Rest  

 

Day 2 – City tour in  Tbilisi 

 Discovering Tbilisi - 1500 years old city, with his historical, religious and architectural diversity.

Visit the Synagogue and the Museum of History and Ethnography of Georgian Jews and Georgian Jewish relation

Testing Georgian kosher wine Saperavi Badagoni

 

Day 3 - Stepantsminda 

 

On the Georgian military road we will go to Stepantsminda, one the way we see the Ananuri Fortress (XVI century) and the Zhinvali reservoir 

 Follow the Gudauri ski resort, the cross pass (2379 m. a. s.  and the fabulous church of Gergeti, at the foot of Kazbek Mountain

Day 4 – Back to Tbilisi  

tracking to the waterfall Gveleti, and mineral lake Abano,

Visit Mtskehta – ancient capital of Gerogia,  Jews have lived here since the Babylonian exile in 586 BCE. A city where Aramaic was also an official national language

 Overnight in Tbilisi 

 Day 5 - Tbilisi - From the medieval city to the bourgeois 

You will meet with the bourgeois city of the 19th century. Tbilisi Funicular, Sololaki and Rustaveli av. 

Visit Famous Dry Bridge and flea market

 Day 6 – Cave towns of Samtskhe Javakheti  

  • Dashbashi Canyon and diamond bridge  
  • Vardzie – unique cave town that has been a haven for both Royalty and the Georgian Orthodox Church.
  • Akhaltsike: The Castle of Rabati (9th century), historical museum, home of the Ladino-speaking Jewish community in Georgia with their unique traditions.

 

Day 7 trip to Western Georgia –

 On the way Borjomi - resort town is famous because of Borjomi mineral water and Borjomi Park; Worldwide Fund for Nature-site Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, Atskuri Castle,

 Kutaisi – Synagogue and Jewish district , 

In Kutaisi, we will visit the Jewish district, the synagogue. We will see two monuments to local Jews and know why city set a monument to them.

Visit the famous Jewish village of Kulashi, and the Museum of Friendship of the Georgian and Jewish People

 Overnight in Tskaltubo 

 

Day 8   Natural caves and canyons of West Georgia 

 Day of nature, we will meet wild nature, miracle caves and amazing canyons 

 Main Sights 

  • The cave of Prometheus - is one of the richest caves in the world with its unique minerals and different types of materials and places.
  • And Martvili Canyon -  enjoy the scenery, waterfalls and take a boat trip in the river with deep green color.

 Day 9 - Batumi

The pearl of the Black Sea, City tour Batumi the famous boulevard, Dolphinarium, dancing fountains. Romanian Fortresses and Botanical Gardens

Visit the Synagogue in Batumi, 

*1908-1921 the place of the Alijah via Constantinople to Palestine.

 Day 10 Adjara Mountains, wild nature 

Adjara is a fascinating and unique area, where the sea collides with mountain range. One of the must-see regions in Georgia, Adjara has fairly built up a superb reputation as one of the best resort areas,

 Main Sights 

  • Gonio fortress is a Roman fortification in Adjara.
  • Makhuntseti waterfall and arch bridge

 Day 11– Free day in Batumi  

Free day in Batumi, enjoy the sun and sea, 

Overnight in Batumi

 

Day 12– Batumi departure

Transfer to Batumi/Kutaisi international airport for departure
